What moves us? What compels our various inner selves? What moves our Pusher, our Organizer, our Rational Mind, our Caretaker or any of the host of other inner selves we can name? I propose that what moves us as Psyche is what moves Nature itself. I call it the 'principles of nature and psyche'. Chaos and Order. Movement and Stillness, Union and Autonomy; these are just a few of the paradoxical principles that move selves into being. Let's explore these, not solely as abstract ideas, today, not through Voice Dialogue facilitation, but in our bodies, directly, wordlessly. We'll be joined by dance leader, Winky Wheeler for a day of body/mind exploration, as we create safe space and use evocative music to dive into the archetypal currents of nature and psyche.
J'aime ona Pangaia is a veteran consciousness teacher of over 30 years practice. She trained and continues to work directly with Drs. Hal and Sidra Stone, creators of Voice Dialogue, being one of their most senior teachers and facilitators. She is the author of numerous articles and the book, The Benefit of People Who Bug You. She maintains a private practice in Portland Oregon and travels extensively in the US and in Thailand to teach Voice Dialogue
In over a decade exploring and teaching ecstatic dance, including Soul Motion™, Winky Wheeler has developed her own spirited ways of leading bodies into movement. (www.ecstaticdancers.com)
