Program Description Structure of the 2 Year Program
Portland Aspect Over the course of the program, the group meets together in person two times a year in Portland Oregon, for a seven day intensive. Additionally, members will meet once a month via a tele-group with J'aime and participate in a mid-intensive multi- week tele-dream class. The program ends with a final day retreat on the northern coast of Oregon. Participation in all five sessions is mandatory to complete the program.
Content: This program overall embeds a traditional "Level I and Level II" curriculum (as designed originally by Drs. Hal and Sidra Stone) for Voice Dialogue training as well as a Facilitator's training in year two. However, all these programs are modified to include archetypal and myth studies as well. These aspects are taught by J'aime ona Pangaia and invited guest teachers. Each week retreat will also feature movement sessions, creative arts sessions and periods of contemplative practice. There will be approximately 45 ceu's per year available from NASW for licensed therapists and counselors who are in the program and who need them to maintain their licenses.
Mentoring Participants will be supported by a regional mentor for their local Voice Dialogue practice. You will have a minimum of 2 sessions a month, preferably in person, with an experienced Voice Dialogue facilitator. A list of approved experienced facilitator's will be given for each student's region. These sessions are not included in the tuition of the program.
Regional Aspect Participants will be supported in choosing regional practices for their meditation practice, movement and expressive arts practices. Guidance for choosing a practice will be given as needed.
Independent Studies A list of reading materials and written assignments designed to support you throughout this program will be provided for studies on your own between retreats.
